Teaching Outcomes:

  • To identify key features of 9 major biomes and locate Russia and identify its 4 major biomes.
  • To compose and record a news report on biomes using appropriate and clear language.

Children will:

  • Sort information about specific biomes, and create 9 biome posters.
  • Find Russia on a map and Identify the 4 major biomes of Russia and their locations.
  • Record a news report introducing biomes and the 4 major ones found in Russia.
