English Year 1/2 Autumn Letters and Postcards
Letters
Enjoy reading letters and postcards in three different texts: Dear Dinosaur, Dear Postman and Dear Father Christmas. Look at sentence types and learn how to add adjectives, adverbs and prepositions to enhance descriptive writing. Write letters and postcards for a range of purposes.
Start with the core unit to introduce key texts. Then select from comprehension, SPAG and composition units.
